The short answer

UK invoice finance comes from high-street banks, specialist banks, independent funders and online platforms. Below are 67 of them, and we work with the majority.

This list is not for picking a lender. Each one prices and decides differently, and the right match depends on your business. We compare them for you in one go.

Why comparing them yourself is hard

On paper they look alike. In practice they differ on almost everything that matters.

  • advance rates and how they treat a large single customer
  • service fees, discount margins and extra charges
  • minimum turnover and minimum contract length
  • which sectors they will and won't fund
  • whether they offer factoring, discounting, selective finance or all three

Every application takes your time and documents, and most of that detail isn't published. That is the gap a broker fills.

Invoice finance companies FAQs

Which is the best invoice finance company?

There is no single best one. The right lender depends on your turnover, sector, customers and whether you want factoring, discounting or selective finance. That is why we compare across the lenders we work with rather than recommend one name.

Should I go direct to a lender or use a broker?

You can go direct, but each lender only offers its own products, and each application takes time. A broker puts your profile in front of the lenders that suit it and compares the total cost for you.

How does FundingLinks get paid?

FundingLinks is an independent broker, not a lender. We are usually paid a commission by the lender when your facility completes. If any fee would apply to you, we agree it with you in writing before you proceed.

Who can use invoice finance through FundingLinks?

Limited companies, LLPs and PLCs that invoice other businesses on credit terms.
